In a move that seems surprising for Guitar Center, they actually let me sit and audition monitors for a bit a couple years ago. A bit to my surprise, I ended up buying the M-Audio BX8a's because I found them less fatiguing to listen to than many of the other options. That may or may not mean anything with respect to accuracy.
