RE: Boomerang iii - experiences and grooves

I have a Crate Limo and I enjoy it quite a bit. Runs for at least 8 hours on one charge at loud volume. Electric guitar sounds…not the best at times but decent enough. Acoustic-Electric and Microphone sound quite nice through it though. On-board reverb and other effects are great…although the effects on mine sometimes randomly change at high bass volume- but that is why I got this amp at a reasonable price J

I’m curious to hear what those battery powered Traynor amps sound like because I have a Traynor tube amp and I like it a lot. Interestingly enough they look very similar in shape to the Crate Taxi / Limo amps.

Would also love to get my hands on a Crate Bass Buss! Those seem incredibly rare to find.

I'd vote against the Taxi btw as a portable solution to anything except having too much money: horribly voiced speaker, useless for vocals, heavy, overpriced, proprietary battery.
