Most amps have a high-pass, a low pass, and *maybe* some bandpass,
but indeed, that's my point that the amp tones give a finer control.

Listening now, best thing is the ultra minimal comping.
This should be compulsory listening for guitarists imo.

There's a number of ways to do it without muting, the most
extreme being "Renaissance Lute" style with the fingers
pointing more or less along the strings.
