Re: EICO 315 Signal Generator-useful?

I have an Eico 377 audio generator that does both sine and square waves and
it only has two binding posts for positive and negative output; a standard
guitar patch cable with spade connectors soldered on one end works fine for
plugging into amps and other effects devices.

Just do be careful - you can easily hit frequencies that may exceed what
your speakers can handle...

If you are into drone stuff, check out this guys kit/project drone synth...
Wicked cool, and it will accept an input signal to be modulated...

I will own one of these sooner or later.

:-)

Now that you mention it, Toby, looks like the Audio out has 'mod ex' under
it, http://twitpic.com/1dggwn -that's probably an in, may be just set the
signal knob to 'mod'? I'm taking my daughter on a little field trip to find
a cable, I'll let you know how it turns out, may be a little improv piece
tonight :) THX-
