Re: How do you?
I'm a tad flabbergasted by this notion... NOT effecting the loop??? Whatever next?
I so surprised that you all seem to be looping effects and not effecting loops... thats what i do almost all the time!!! Its why going software is such a burden to me.. i need them knobs.
Especially as I like to split the signal after the guitar into a few different efffect lines, I have
noise line (spacetation, air fx and bitrman) a
floaty line (vortex) a
whatever I want high quality line (Fireworx)..and a
guitar synth line then I can listen to one of them... the noise one for instance, but LOOP the nice one... the lop comes back, sounding different from the thing one heard, PLUS I effect it. My 2 EDP both have one effect on them and both are DJ style effects for max tweakage, a red sound federation and a Roland 303FX, both are synched via midi to the EDP that they are effecting, this by adjusting the 8th setting (which determined the speed at which the EDP sends out clock, one ca change the speed of the effects that is effecting them.
So I regularly make 2 loops, and never play into them again...Ill copy effected bits of one loop into the other loop, and copy them back again, keep clean version on loop 2, to go back to when all gets too much.
However, after a bit I tend to pick up the guitar and loop with no effects and normally have lots more fun.. Hmm,,

Well, of course, you put fx after the looper. I have heard of folks on
this list doing that, but I don't remember which folks.
