Y'all understand that this isn't a real guitar, right? At least it doesn't look like one. I suspect synthesized output only. The fact that they say it never needs tuning leads me to think that this is where the Beetle Quantar technology wound up... they used to do pitch-to-midi by running a sonar (I believe) signal down the strings from the bridge, and measuring how long it took to bounce back to the source from your finger. That way they knew string length, hence desired pitch. but you used 6 identical strings on it, no direct audio output from the strings.
