Few remarks on Per's response:

- Mainstage:
If you're looping in mono, you could pan the output hard to left. 
Then, you can sum all your input channels and pan them hard to the right.

- If you use Mobius as looper:
If you monitor your input, you can let Mobius recording everything going 
through the looper.
In addition, Mobius can save your loops.

I wonder if you could realistically route all channels (audio+midi) to 
Reaper for additional recording while looping with Mobius+MS?
