I played the Digitech today Bill... The local store didnt have the Verbzilla, but there getting in for me to A/B with the digitech (Anyone know if the Digitech runs on normal Boss style power? - not buying another AC pedal... ever! I think if prob does cos it takes 9v batteries)

Now.. I only tried the Hardwire in mono, into an AC30 I think.. and it was OK... but I hated the reverse.. totally useless, and the spring was OK, but the other big reverbs all sounded the same to me, nice but I couldnt hear any difference between them.. UNTILL
I
GOT
TO
THE
GATE...

Oh my... Oh my oh fucking my..

lovely..

I used to use a hard gated reverb (from a SPX90 I think) in the Cranes on bass... for this machine anlegg  Front242 industrial chugger thing (check out Cranes Self Non Self a track called Fuse... thats me...)

Fuck me Id forgotton that gated reverb used to BE MY THING...

So I think, unless the Verbzill really blows me away, Im going with the Hardwire and getting my sound back...

So.. Im very gald you think its got good fidelity and is hight quality Bill, I trust your ears more than mine frankly...

TC, well.. its a bit out of my pocket Im afraid...

I would take a longer look at the TC Nova reverb and the Digitech hardwire reverb. I think both boast a more pristine reverb quality than the Verbzilla. If you are coming across the pond it will be cheaper to buy here. The store I work at partime usually stocks both the verbzilla and digitech as well as EH and boss, and I have a nova verb as well you could try out. I settled on the Nova verb over the others because I thought it had the most useable parameters and the most transparent sound.
