Re: making money off your music

If you can find the gimmick that works, Matthias, let me know and I'll use it!  :)

Another idea is selling thumb drives.  You could get a 6 gig thumb drive and put all sorts on things on it.

yeah, thats what I want do to, for years, with all my recordings!
so it does not sell, because people are not used to that format?
or because 10$ is not enough?
I thought I would put it in some golden special envelop and charge 50$ or so...

Best way I've figured of making money off my music is to use my CDs as mouse coasters while I work (my day job) on my computer.  :)

But speaking of not selling, here is a not-selling pitch: my entire discography and videos are now on one compilation DVD here:

It is a collection of works performed or produced by me between 2004 and 2010. The DVD contains works from 20 CDs, over 200 MP3s, and 16 videos, including CD artwork and live recordings never produced on CD.

I am bringing some to Y2KX.

Cheers!
