Simplest way
Mute Mode = Sta
End record with Mute.

Then hit Mute to start playback, 
and Mute again to stop.

If you do Quantise= CYC 
you can just tap twice and you'll get exactly one loop.

There's many other ways, I can work out the "just one button pressed once"
way if needed, but the setup for that will take away a lot of flexibility.

It's also more easily realisable using midi control.
