I removed my account on Myspace over a year ago.

Perhaps it is an ego thing.  In order to navigate to one's profile  
page one must first navigate past pages promoting the latest teen idol  
or hip-hop act.  The log in process made me feel frustrated before I  
ever even started!

It occurred to me that anyone who would enter through Myspace's  
storefront would have absolutely no interest in me or my music.  So I  
removed my account and haven't missed it a bit.
