4track evil!

hello all-

anyone have problems w/ tascam 4-tracks in the past?  i've got a porta 07
that i've barely used, that was bought new (4 years ago), and it keeps
stopping.

of course, i found this quote from trent reznor on the 'net, which doesn't
exactly get my hopes up:

"One thing is
certain: I'll never go back out with a fuckin' Tascam cassette deck which
has the irritating problem of stopping whenever
there's a voltage spike or anything. That has led to a few problems with us
onstage. "
