I'm no metallurgist, but I believe it's aluminum. Magnets don't stick to
it, and aluminum doesn't weigh a whole lot.

According to the manual, the Headrush weighs 690 grams. My TR-2, a
standard- sized Boss pedal, weighs in at 400 grams (15 oz.) with battery.

I think the finish is some sort of plasticised coating, but there's no
finish inside the unit.
