looping gig, boston
This Thursday the 19th at 8 pm the looping duo CATOVEN
(www.catoven.com) will be playing at the tiny ZeitGeist gallery just
outside of Central Square, Cambridge.
312 Broadway.
The music is heavily rhythmic looped (using 2 echoplex pro)
improvisations/grooves. Our site has several mp3s to preview. Try to make
it if you're in the area.
Andy McGraw: set, marimba, samples, percussion, gamelan instruments,
turntables, tabla etc.
Shahzad Ismaily: bass, guitar, moogs, casio keyboards, vocals, baby pianos
etc.
