actually, ive been trying to loosen up in my old 
age...........:)............kim, i am aware that many of the folks on the 
list know their way around the innards of their equipment and i do enjoy 
reading the many posts about things that i have no understanding of (in 
hopes 
of learning).........and yes, i am aware that there are service centers 
for 
equipment problems...........i guess my question was, how much tinkering 
with 
the unit will effect the warranty (for us faint of heart)...........also, 
i 
am sorry for thinking the "edp" would be new and improved, ive no idea 
where 
i got that from, perhaps in a dream................."back to my meds"
