I both have a gun and carry it regularly; hell, I'm a looper, a member of
the Chamber of Commerce, and an all-around doer of evil.

Being creative, in my case, has nothing to do with being "gentle"; I don't
make reassuring background noise for airports.

No thanks..you have any idea how little fun it is to get the residue from
tape off of a rough steel barrel?

Former military personnel in the US get preferential hiring for gov't jobs.

I used to do something similar with my first tape echoplex; the record head
fried at one point and I was too lazy to fix it as long as I wiped the tape
clean before a show...it'd create blistering white noise out of what was
being put into it after about a half-hour, but in that half-hour, it was a
fascinating instrument just by itself.
