i heard your influences before i read them
at least a definite lean to abercrombie, sco and torn
(i hope that doesn't bug you.  some people are bugged by
the notion that their sound is not exclusively their own)
i even thought "ntsu," though i'm not exactly sure why
i have lived in dfw since 1980 and am somewhat familiar with the scene
there...
i am also a guitar player but am pretty new to looping
have been into torn for years, though
