Generators, Batteries, And Thread Management

Hey Papa Dave,

Could you briefly describe your generator and battiers setup? What model
generator that's quiet, and with baffles, etc.?

Thanks so much.

Best,

Not that insane. I cannot be the only person on this list who's
seen
the
King Crimson concert DVD "deja vroom" with the wonderful feature
"21st
century schizoid band". For those of you who don't know what I'm
talking
about, the specific feature provides 12 time-synched tracks of
their
work
"21st Century Schizoid Man" song in the following grid:

        rhythm, vocal, solo
        1969 1969 1969
        1971 1971 1971
        1974 1974 1974
        1996 1996 1996

so you can choose any of the four versions of each of the three
tracks. So
you choose which rhythm track, then which vocal, then which solo.
Press
play and you get the remix of your choice. Go through the choices
again
        and hear a new version.

I may be missing your point entirely, but even if I did, the above
is a
cool way to release a song.

        regards,
        Steve Burnett

Off topic for the judgemental and opinionated.....

I will have a looping rig at Burning Man consisting of a jamman, vortex,
DL4, electribe, kaoss pad, headrush and a small P.A. mics and a generator
(a very quiet one) with baffles....looping for spontanious jams and
telepathic connections to create in the moment. I use a guitar and vocals.
Not taking my bigger rig or EDP to avoid dust intrusion. I also have a set
up to loop powered by batteries to be more mobile. I will be in "the Black
Light District". Look for me. I will arrive on Sat. a couple of days early
on the 26th.
