Well, I am pretty fond of my nanoverb, I believe it has  footswitch jack 
but
I don't have a footswitch so i can't tell you how responsive it is. You can
find them for less than a hundred new if you look around. There's basically
16 presets with controls for the in, mix, out, and effect amount, so it may
not be as complex as you are after, but hey, it's stereo. Plus the plate
presets create semi loops by themselves. I'd say it's definitely worth the
money, but I am not sure what you mean by repetitive kickback.
