Re: Off Topic-indulge me please
yep, interesting thread!
i'm 30-something, married for 10 years now, have dos chicas pequeñas muy
hermosas (2 and 4) and now have a 'normal' job, tho' the jury is out on
how long i'll last :-) i guess up until the job, i was a
semi-professional musician. meaning i got paid pretty well to gig and
record, more than usually as a bassist supporting a singer-songwriter of
some sort. i got into this looping thing after playing in band called
monk (hence the ric hordinski connection) back east. so now i loop at
home and also a bit with the trio i play with here in la. i've recorded a
bunch of looping bits and pieces in my little home studio and am working
with using acid to make something of the mess. since i've yet to do a
solo looping gig, i'm anxious for the first la loop feste next week to
see steve, ric, and andre tear it up :-)
anyway, i really have enjoyed and learned alot from this list. thanks to
kim et al!
