OK.....
I just played a Stupid sounding Bluegrass lick @ 110bpm  I slowed it down 
to 
7 bpm and could still what notes were playing!  Of course there are lots 
of 
artifacts....Cool thing is that you can TAP your new tempo in after you 
make 
your loop  :)
