RE: Muting Repeater & Echoplex Simultaneously
Thanks Kim, yup I get the feeling that the Rolls just isn't
going to cut it in the long run.
I have been debating on whether to purchase a Yamaha MFC-10
rr a Mitigator RFC-1 (If I can find one). I know the MFC-10
send one CC value when a switch is pressed and another when a switch is
released but can the Mitigator do that? Thanks

sure you are not sending those to it. It uses either note on/off or
continuous controllers.

make sure you have midi channel set right, and the echoplex
ControlSource
parameter set to use continuous controllers.

it could be. I don't know the rolls pedal well, but I always thought it
was
lacking in some way such that it didn't work with the echoplex. What
you'll
want is for it to send a continuous controller with some value when you
press a switch down, and when you release the switch it should send the
same controller with value 0. If it can't do that, then you may want to
consider investing in a better pedal than the rolls.
