well, truth is:
we didn't have tv until my folks came to visit us, once, when our kids
were
already well-sprouted:
the parents couldn't handle *visiting* us w/o a tv, so they brought us a
cheapie as a 'housewarming present'.....
but:
it has never impeded my concentration, nor my workflow..... at all.
