can't say i see myself as a "peavy basher" per se....the 2 pieces of peavy 
gear i own (ever owned) are the 2 you listed below, and i recomend them 
all the time (although i almost never see anyone using the filter).

that said, if a company wants it's name associated with only good things, 
then it should not put it on really crappy mixing boards, and soso speaker 
setups.
