ambiloop
ambiloop rules! It and audiomulch are the only loopers I use anymore.
The only hardware looper I have experience with is the DL-4 and
ambiloop operates very much in the same fashion, except it's on
steroids. It's controllable via midi now so you can set up a
footswitch and go to town. or the country.
highly recommended.

Still haven't tried it as an realtime looper, but its features seem to
me to
be great.
