Here was my solution- I used a Midisolutions Router
which I use to send clock to bandmate's Repeater (I programmed the router to
filter start/stop commands on 1 of the 2 outputs) and set both outputs on the
router to only pass midi clock and filter all other messages. Works perfectly-
and the fact that the router is powered via midi puts the icing on the
cake.
