RE: Line 6 DL4 problem

Title: RE: Line 6 DL4 problem

>>has anyone had a problem with the Line 6 DL4,
specifically using an expression pedal?  I'm using my
Ernie Ball stereo volume/pan pedal....
The only thing I can think of is that the Line 6 pedal
is specially designed for the DL4 (and the other
pedals in the line)<<

I tried using an ordinary mono volume/expr pedal with my dl4 & discovered that it did nothing much of use. can't remember the exact symptoms, but it wasn't what I wanted it to do. for some reason, it occurred to me to dismantle the pedal's jack plug & reverse the tip & ring connections. since then it works fine, no problems at all. that, so far as I know, is the only difference between the line-6 expr pedal & similar (much cheaper) devices.

duncan.
