The MIDI specs are very specific about this ;)
(quoting from memory): controllers with numbers 64 to 127 are for
switches (i.e. controllers which only know on or off). For these, a
value of 0-63 represents "OFF" while a value of 64 to 127 represents
"ON".

Sorry, I just had to say that.

MIDI can be very confusing.  My guess is that if you
send a value of 127 it would probably work though I've
not tried controlling it via midi like I do my
Repeater.
