We are in the process of organising an all day festival at  
Lighthouse, Poole
's Centre for the Arts, Saturday November 12th.

The event is called 'Unsafe' and will feature performances by some of  
the UK
's leading improvising musicians, workshops and a SafeHouse session  
which
will bring improvising musicians from Poole and Brighton together for  
the
first time. Renowned improviser / saxophonist Evan Parker will be  
playing
during the evening.

As part of the festival we will be holding a laptop-jam-style event. Our
hope is to focus on using sounds found  in the vicinity of the  
performance
space, and processing them digitally for a collaborative live  
performance.
There will also be some other participatory workshops for more  
conventional
instrumentalists.

Let me know if anoyone is interested in participating in some way.
