Yes, I just got rid of a DL-4 as it stopped using battery power on
me--probably something about the batteries voiding. I'll get a DD-20 to 
fill
in that blank when I need/can afford to.
I don't really do a lot of loop busking, but I do a lot of battery powered
amplified gigs with the Minivox by Anchor Audio, which is $220 from these
guys

I have started using a Boss ME-30 near the front of the chain for some
reverb--still using the Carvin Stagemate

But I am rather getting used to my stage setup--the Starr Labs doubleneck
into a MPX-G2 and a Roland SC-880 with the Echoplex in Aux 1 of the board.
Nice to route all audio sources for looping--vox, guitar, tone module (for
live and sequences--start getting very DJ when you sample sequences) or the
Echo Indigo, a laptop PC audio card I have not yet started using as a 
source
for looping, but which might keep me busy a while--thru the EDP with the
turn of a dial and the push of a fader!

So far, I know the DL-4, Gigadelay DD-20 are battery operable but I'm not
sure about the others.
Maybe it could make sense to add this criterion (battery-operable or not)

Are there any other battery-operated loop devices?
I'm not mentioning the Boss RC-20 and RC-20XL because they don't allow to
control Feedback: it's always at 100%, right?

In this vein I'd be interested in experiences of other musicians on this
list with battery-based looping, including portable amps...

E.g. Gary Lehmann seems to be experienced in this?
