Quick shortlist on Augustus Loop in Ableton Live
Hi,
Please allow me to cross post these hot tips for looping with the OS
X plug-in Augustus Loop in Ableton Live (from the Live forum):
> Try setting up MIDI clips that send notes for sequences of pitch
> transposition! Look into the Augustus manual for the correct note
> numbers etc and set the MIDI track output to the audio track
> hosting Augustus. It's difficult to find musical use for scales but
> rhythmic juming up and down over the avaiabl three octaves is very
> cool. Try to feed augustus with this pitch controller data while
> you overdub audio into the loop!

> You may also assign a pedal to Augustus "Tap Rec" button as well as
> the "Freeze" button. With correct setting of the "Punch In" and
> "Punch Out" values the Input will go down to zero after punching
> out and go back to ten when you punch in. The loop will still be in
> "Overdub Mode" while the input is turned down, so it will get
> mangled if you fiddle with the Transpose Pitch. To prevent that you

> Assign a MIDI expression pedal to Agusustus "Master Feedback".

I hope someone may find this shortlist useful. It took some time to
