Re: *First Post* need advice on midi sync looper
"I'd think you would want the pitch to *not* change when the midi
clock signal speeds up."
No, I want it to change, It's all part of my 'organic' approach ;). Im not
the slightest bit interested in timestretch/pitchshifting pagan magic. I
want it like a reel to reel etc.
If the repeater is in any way unreliable with locking to a clock then I
will happily snob its extra features. And by a few reports it is a bit
inconsistant in this department.
So, is the EDP rock-solid-bang-on every time. Or is it prone to the odd
tamtrum too?
Are these the only two 'pro' candidates for midi syncing and quantizing?
The "start a loop and have it quantize to MTC" funtion is what it's all
about for me, and I want something that will do that every time, for
extensive live use.
