Re: octave pitch shifting down?



The EH Bass Microsynth makes nice bass noises, but they are not exactly realistic 'bass' guitar sounds if that's what you are looking for.

I like mixing the original sound with the signal transposed 1 octave
down. The original signal adds dirt/realism to the octaved sound
which by itself seems synthetic, like a sine or square wave.
Of course the pure octaved sound has its appeal, too...
All these settings can be configured on the pedal itself without the
need for a separate mixer.
