I'm not sure I fully understand the situation, but the rules for
sending sync
go like this:
- the first track on which a loop is recorded becomes the sync master
and determines the tempo
- if the sync master track enters a state where the loop length is
unknown
output sync stops, this can happen in these situations
- reset (obviously)
- record (throw away the current loop and start over)
- loop switch to an empty loop with Auto Record turned on
It is this last case that causes the most surprises. Even though you
had something cooking in the first loop, if you switch to another loop
that is empty sync will stop unless you are using one of the various
sound copy or time copy methods.
If you need to keep sync going as you record new loops use
LoopCopy=Timing to copy the cycle length from one loop to the
next. Rather than start a recording from scratch, you'll start with
an empty loop of a known size and immediately start overdubbing.
