Re: RME Firewire 800 and Guitar Amp Sim
Thanks Kris.  I probably wasn't clear.
I'm using Bidule, Mobius, and a collection of VSTs.  What I've been hoping to find is a VST that handles *power amp and speaker simulation* ONLY.  I've got the pre-preamp effects and preamp tone I want, but it would be convenient to have a VST round off the final tone shaping steps.
I'll check your suggestions for full guitar amp simulation VSTs, but that's not really what I'm trying to accomplish.
Thanks!!!
Doug

I'd like to find a (light CPU, hopefully free or low-cost) VST
solution for this before I get to Santa Cruz. :)

Try Chainer. Heck, you are using the
Indigo? I did before too...I am basically re-directing you to my old system:
Chainer VST host, Voxengo and Brackenbury tube amp sims, Mobius, and a bunch
of VST effects. It's still a great little
  system.
Ideas?

Maybe... not free though.  But what type of
    guitar sound are you
looking for? What guitar model are you going to
    plug into it? What
pick-ups?
