Trying to change an established list like this is like blowing in the wind.

The better solution is for individuals to have better mail processing
so they can handle a high volume of mail.  I have Looper's Delight as
a label in my gmail which bypasses the inbox so I never see it unless
I want to and a thread like this with 50+ emails shows up as one thing
for me.  Fabulous
