Basically user reviews, positive reviews from Max/MSP users, and
Kaiser...as
he uses the MOTU, and is moving to the FW 400. Plus, I've heard excellent
reviews of the converters.

I've been saving up for the MOTU (somewhat less money, and if I run into
problems or need advice Kaiser can always help me since that's what he
uses).
