Hi Jim,
the Jamman does have an auto start feature where
you can arm it, then it starts recording as soon as it gets an input signal.
i got the optional footswitch with it and it helps
in this. It will take practice to nail the close of the loop..
The only problem I had with the unit besides no
feedback is that you have to stop the jammer and then save the loop before
switching to the next loop for recording. This was
the deal breaker for me. I found that the only way to use it live would be to
have
pre-recorded loops to start with. Since all I do is
improv I quit using it for now.I may use it for bringing found sounds, etc into
the mix. For now its packed up and not being used.
If anyone has any work arounds I would love to hear
them.
tanx,
Jeff
