Most important expression control on a loop device is
1) FEEDBACK

...then afterwards

2) Loop Output Volume

...and somewhat later

3) Loop Input Volume

...some time in an imaginary universe, 

10) Programmable combinations of the above controls,
     e.g. Pedal controls Loop Input Vol AND Feedback simultaneously (with 
feedback control inverted)


...but really it's FEEDBACK  


other than that, it depends on what parameters are availble
