It's possible, in the same way that it's possible that the 12.5V supply
might
not cause problems. It's even possible that the Vortex circuitry in a bit
different
in the power circuitry, the Jamman/Alex/Reflex are all basically the same
circuitry overall,
but the Vortex is different.
Personally, though, I wouldn't risk it.
