That would suggest that Zoë isn't playing a roadworthy instrument. If 
you throw a cello on the hard stage it will break, which might be even 
true for your guitar as well...

My computer is my instrument, I take care of it, it won't fall. And the 
paranoid just carry a second one as backup...

Roadworthy for me is that you can pack it safely to carry it around with 
as little weight as possible...

You can also take a Mac mini, preconfigure it to load all the magic 
automatically and only attach a monitor for trouble shooting...
The mini for the weight (and firewire), all rackspace computers are too 
heavy to be considered roadworthy according to our specs... ;-)
