Not at all!  Very interesting, he clearly knows his stuff. Just look at 
the transfer plots at testing.  Bet he's also an expert on good wines ;)
Besides, tubes aren't nessesarily vintage. For lotsa kinds of tones, I 
don't see anything replacing them in a foreseeable future..
