walk a mile in their shoes. i can only imagine how badly they wanted to be at namm and release the VR software, but using passion and creativity to build something from nothing is a chaotic and unpredictable experience -duh. To all you musicians, i dare to ask how many times you have tried to make a release date for a CD but have not been able to meet your promise due to a long series of events that you could not predict. just because its late does not make it inferior - quite the opposite, itll be better than if released in a haste, or just to make namm - i applaud them for maintaining their goal of making the best hardware and software they can- because they sure as hell arent making any money - and havent been for 4 years. So heaven forbid they must have pride in what they do and rightfully choose not to release something before its ready. clearly, I am dissapointed in their lack of communication - To merely avoid the confrontation, and not explain anything to their fans anxiously awaiting their products is childish. A simple news update to their monotonous website would be all that is needed.- but - to avoid the stones being thrown at them by their less patient consumers, they have chosen to do nothing. This is clearly the wrong thing to do, and you would have hoped that they would have learned this lesson by now. I could give a rats ass about the VR software as i will always be a hardware man - call me old fashion, but i like to have knobs and doo-ma-higgies. But the repeater mkii i have been anxiously awaitng, but now i know for sure that any projected release date will be off by 6 months to a year. So am i going to cry, or BAN electrix for life? Nope. So is electrix the greatest company in the world with the best customer service and the highest degree of punctuality? Hell no. But in my personal humble opinion - they came the closest to making the best hardware looping device under the sun. I applaud them for this, and am anxiously awaiting the sequal, as once the noise issue is gone, i dont know how i could be dissapointed. But whenever you get your head out of your ass, dear Mr. Electrix, give the bloody people a news update, would ya? please. > Date: Thu, 24 Jan 2008 17:51:06 +0100 > From: perboysen@gmail.com > To: Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com > Subject: Re: Electrix > > On Jan 24, 2008 5:39 PM, Kevin Cheli-Colando <billowhead@gmail.com> wrote: > > > > Also, a friend who works in a local music shop trying to order Electrix > > goods has told me that they have told him that they hit a snag in the > > virtual repeater in trying to make it compatible with the Ilok (the software > > key).
