I dont personally feel comfortable with the word
"famous"
leave that to people like Fripp,Torn,Belew,Terry
Riley,Eno,etc.
I would  rather say "favorite on this list"
also perhpas "fathers" or "founders" of LD
the problem is too many of you are dear favorites!
