Well, if it came to that, I doubt I'd be thinking about my looping rig. :) But, there's always this:
A friend of my mom lives so far out in WV that he had to go solar or pay about $20,000 to have power run to his house. He runs his whole house and recording studio off his solar system.
What would I do? Acoustic guitar. No looping or power. :)

Second question: Has anyone created a solar powered system? Just to make it simple, what would it take, and how much would it cost to make a solar powered system right now that would power my Roland Microcube and RC-2? I think it would be fun to create such a system.
Or, does anyone have one of those stationary bicycles that is also a generator? Can you pedal fast enough to power these two electronic items? Imagine packing your bike around to play a gig. :)
