Cool Edit was free
Cool Edit Pro was a commercial version with multi-tracking.

Bought out by Adobe,
and renamed Audition.

It still has the Binaural Panner.
..but has lost any of the info it had about "brainwaves".

including the multitrack.
(but not presumably not cracks)
