Check out the Electro Harmonix 2880, it works as either
master or slave. The only issue I had with it as slave was fixed with the
firmware update.
The optional footswitch is needed also for hands off
operation.

Hi, I am completely new to Loopers Delight, looking for my
first looper.
Features I need in a looper are:
-syncronization
with an external MIDI-clock
-at least 2 minutes of looping
time
-relatively small size (pedal/pedalboard)
I've been checking
out the Boss RC-20 and the RC-50, but the RC-20 doesn't have MIDI and the
RC-50 is way too big for me. All other loopers I've found with MIDI are either
gigantic or rack-mountable, and what I need is a pedal with a
not-too-overwhelming size. I don't know if it exists, but i suspect that if it
does, one of you will know. Hoping for replies!
