OT: StringPort for polyphonic guitars

Keith McMillen who was also involved in the creation of the Echoplex  
releases a little box with a Roland type DIN13 input and USB output,  
so every Roland compatible guitar can now be hooked up to a computer!
More than that: there was a free pin in the Roland connecter which he  
uses to transfer MIDI, so you can have additional controllers or fret  
contacts in the instrument
And much more: he also offers the software and the pitch recognition  
hw...

I did not have a chance to try it yet and hope that some of you visit
