Plogue Bidule,
the only host which freely allows you to sync any plugin to any other.

Freely exchange layouts between mac & pc versions.

Linking plugins in any series/parallel configuration is incredibly simple,
as it works like a virtual pedal-board.

Bidule can be used to create your own fx using simple building blocks.

You can re-configure the layout while it's actively processing audio.

...and even if you later decide to use a different host, Bidule itself
can be a vst plugin. 


It doesn't have a lot of expensive sounding fx in the package, but then
it's cheap enough to buy those elsewhere.
