Re: OT DID YOU KNOW? A fascinating and eye opening video about changes in the digital media age
Richard,
I know a little about this living in Florida. A few years back we had
major
power outages due to hurricanes. Lifes priorities change very quickly.
After
a major storm like these people come out and start to get organized. I
have
been trained in cpr and basic first aid. People who have low tech survival
skills become very valued very quickly. The ability to play an acoustic
instrument or sing becomes much more than it was. After a couple of weeks
of
this you can barely remember life "in the before time". I needn't go into
some of the criminal activitys that come with an event such as this. I
will
say that knowing how to protect yourself and others becomes extremly
valuable.
This time someone hit a power pole. All back to normal..?..time to throw
something in the microwave.
peace out,
Jeff
